ANAE renames National Account Executive Lifetime Achievement Award after industry stalwart John Penhollow

The Association of National Account Executives is excited to announce that we are changing the name of The National Account Executive Lifetime Achievement Award to the ANAE John Penhollow Lifetime Achievement Award, which is now open for nominations for 2023.

The ANAE John Penhollow Lifetime Achievement Award is given to the person who best demonstrates excellence in his or her dedication to advancing and promoting National Accounts and a never-ending pursuit of advancing healthcare. The award is named after industry stalwart John Penhollow, the former Director of National Accounts at Medical Action Industries, who passed away on October 4, 2023.

Penhollow was affectionately known in the industry as the “Godfather of National Accounts” and many in our industry learned from, looked up to and tried to emulate his professionalism and the quiet diplomatic approach that he took in good times and in very challenging times.

John was respected by the Provider, GPO, Medical Surgical Distribution communities and his competitors as well.
