Community Health Systems, Inc. announced that subsidiaries of the Company have completed the divestiture of ShorePoint Health– Port Charlotte in Port Charlotte, Florida, certain assets of ShorePoint Health–Punta Gorda, in Punta Gorda, Florida, and related businesses to subsidiaries of Adventist Health System Sunbelt Healthcare Corporation (AdventHealth) for $260 million. The entry into the definitive agreement for this transaction was announced on November 22, 2024, and the closing was effective March 1, 2025.
