BCBS of Tennessee to Open 8 Primary Care Centers

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will open eight primary care centers this fall through a joint venture with Sanitas, an international health organization with 50 health centers in the U.S.

The insurer has invested more than $65 million in patient-centered medical homes over the past five years.

The new health centers will be in Brentwood, East Nashville, Murfreesboro, South Nashville, and four locations throughout Memphis.
