SMI announces that Mr. Barry Blake is joining the SMI Team as the new Associate Executive Director, filling the position being vacated on June 1 by SMI’s Dennis Orthman. Barry comes to SMI from SCM World, a division of the Gartner Community, where he served as Vice President and Program Director. SCM World is a cross-industry learning community comprised of and powered by the world’s most influential supply chain practitioners.
Barry will have a variety of duties with SMI, with keen focus on leading the planning and management of SMI Forums and SMI Initiatives, and he will be an active member of the healthcare supply chain community as a representative of SMI.
